Cookbook creator says: I modified this when I made it by adding lots of veggies. Red, yellow, and orange bellpeppers, mushrooms, onions, and zucchini. The sauce didn't have enough kick for me so I had to add in a dash of salt b/c the ricotta can be bland. Even better the next day after the flavors meld together, yum.
