Cookbook creator says: When I make this I will use my own salt-free taco spice blend (from a Tightwad Gazette book), and the reduced sodium salsa that I make with salt-free diced tomatoes and Victorian Epicure Salsa Mix. Then I just MIGHT use the mushroom soup, which is high in sodium...as are most canned soup.

Cookbook creator says: Delicious. I used olive oil for the butter, beef stock (which I had on hand) instead of chicken, and red wine to top up the amount. I also used fat-free sour cream instead of heavy cream...So maybe I created a new recipe?? I think this would work with veggie broth, too, to make it Lent friendly

I saw this recipe made on The Biggest Losers. I didn't have any ground turkey on hand, so I used lean ground beef. This is double the origianl recipe. Makes great leftovers for lunch.
