Original recipe calls for regular breakfast sausage, such as Jimmy Dean. But I found this substitute to taste just as good and much less fat and healthier. A great grab and go breakfast. Make ahead and wrap individually in the refridge, micro for 30 seconds on high and go!!Submitted by PUSHWAIT
A high protein mookie - a muffin & cookie combo! Sort of like a cookie, sort of like a muffin...very tasty! High protein, low fat.
Milk free! (I recently added 1/4 cup of margarine to the recipe... they taste better with margarine. But, margarine can be omitted!)
These taste like little mini banana breads. Submitted by KARBYG
This is the most delicious recipe I have tried lately....I am not a fan of portobello mushrooms BUT I cannot get enough of this. The nutritional facts are based on 4 servings and all the fat comes from the olive oil so at least it is good fat! I promise you will LOVE this dish !Submitted by JANNERS1980
This is a delicious recipe that is full of great flavors, healthy, and high in protein.Submitted by S318830
This is my own creation. Sweet, mild, healthy, non-fishy tilapia is complimented by lemon, capers, butter, broth, and white wine in this satisfying and deceptively easy meal. I like my piccata lemony with touches of onion, garlic, and capers to round out the taste. This is a basic recipe for 1 lb. of filets. Please reduce this recipe accordingly if you use fewer filets, unless you want the leftunders as lunch or another dinner, like I do, if all is not eaten during the first go-‘round. I am a strong believer in flexibility, so experiment and substitute most any flaky white fish, pounded-flat veal or chicken cutlets, according to your creativity, pantry contents, budget, ingredient-availability, and personal tastes. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this recipe, including any suggestions, comments, and input. Thank you for reading and trying this recipe! Sweet and creamy, both sweet potatos and beans are good sources of dietary fiber!
These bean cakes are yummy and great for you. Served with the salsa, it makes a very colorful and festive presentation. I serve these with a lite side salad. Plenty of protein and fiber. Even my meat loving hubby loves this meal.Submitted by BCJL13
This dish is baked and flavored with a Mediterranean-style tomato, onion, and garlic sauce to make it lower in fat and salt.
This is “pan-Mediterranean” in its flavors and employs a method of cooking fish by keeping it moist in a zesty sauce. You can also add capers, roasted peppers or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
