i am crazy for cheesecake ( new york style) but, it has way to much fat, sugar and calories for me to fit it into my new lifestyle. I felt that I could make a cheesecake that was both good tasting and good for you and I think that I have done it!! I hope that you enjoy this as much as we did.

Griddle tea cakes made by Great Grandma Cecilia Rees Elias Welsh while she was still in Wales (married there in 1910) and for all major holidays in the US. Not a sweet cookie but rather more of a tea biscuit. Family tradition dictates that the cooks have tea and cakes when the cooking is complete.

This is the tastiest shortbread recipe I have ever come across. This is also my very favorite cookie in the whole world. This recipe makes 4 dozen mini button shortbread cookies.....normally these are rather unhealthy but the nutritional info per cookie is not that bad, less than 60 calories per cookie, less than 1.5 grams of sugar per cookie. These are a yummy treat but are REMEMBER that "Moderation is the key"

If you're going to bake, make a heart healthy treat for your family. This delicious pie uses only a small amount of oil in the crust and the filling uses lower fat versions of ingredients without losing any of the flavor.

This is incredibly light and airy for pumpkin pie and you can afford to add a dolop of fresh whipped cream on top, if you like.
