This is for use with the Bariatric Lynn's Pork Gyros recipe but can also be used for other gyros, Greek salads, etc. It is really good and gets better over the next couple of days in the refrigerator.

This is a quick microwave recipe that makes a yummy snack! It could also be pureed but may need a tablespoon or two of hot water added.
While eveyone else is having a high-fat, high-sugar dessert at Thanksgiving, make this yummy alternative in a jiffy for yourself! But, watchout! Everyone else may want one, too!Submitted by HEALTHYLIVN4ME
This delicious alternative to classic pulled pork will be a hit any way you serve it! Serve with Nabisco® Reduced-Calorie Triscuit® Crackers or 1/2 of a small whole-wheat hamburger bun, if tolerated. Nutrition information is not included for these serving options.
If you are in the early post-surgery stages, this can be pureed, also.Submitted by HEALTHYLIVN4ME

This recipe is so easy to make!
Because I have a Lap-Band, I used the SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend in this recipe but if you want or need to avoid all sugar, you may replace it with 3 Tablespoons of the SPLENDA® that measures like sugar (not the packets) and you will need to find a sugar-free ketchup. The nutritional information will need to be changed accordingly.
It is important to begin with very fresh and very lean boneless pork chops. I found a large Family- Pack of 6 chops that weighed 2.30 pounds. When I removed every last bit of fat, I ended up with exactly 2 pounds of lean meat.
Other similar recipes call for the sauce to be cooked and thickened before pouring over the chops but I found that the sauce thickens very nicely on its own without pre-cooking it, thus saving a step and time!
Just a side note: The first time I made this, I forgot the ketchup and it was still delicious.Submitted by HEALTHYLIVN4ME
