The original recipe was taken from Taste of Home; however, I changed it up a little bit to lower the calories. I found that the bread was the key issue so the nutritional information is calculated for a single patty, no bread. Use whatever bread you like and just make sure you add it on to your calorie count.

This recipe was featured on Dr Oz. The only thing changed was that I used three tablespoons of margarine with canola oil instead of 2 tablespoons of margarine and 1 tablespoon of canola oil.

This is a modification of a beef and mushroom stroganoff recipe I tried from another sparkpeople member (budgetmom).
I mix different mushrooms, like portabella and oyster. Can be served over regular egg noodles or eggless egg noodles to make it vegan. These can be found at stop and shop.

This tastes just like Weight Watcher's Smart Ones frozen Santa Fe Rice and Beans meal, only it is much lower in sodium, and it has chicken! YUM! It makes a ton, so invite friends or plan to have lots of leftovers. The whole family loves this dish! It tastes much naughtier than it is!!

Very filling super delicious, and SPICY!! You can tone down the spiciness by substituting plain Diced Tomatoes instead of ones with Green Chilies as I do.
