This recipe came from the chicken enchilada recipe I submitted earlier. I didn't need to make that many chicken enchiladas, so I made this up to make a slightly different meal. I used the remaining sauce from the chicken enchilada recipe, then added the remaining chicken and added the chicken broth. The trick to using Turkey Ham in slow cooking soups and stews is to not put it in early or else the ham flavoring cooks out of the turkey and the end result is not especially tasty, especially when expecting it to be ham-flavored. Yet I stil want a ham flavoring to this bean soup so I added 4 ounces of turkey ham chopped into 1/4-inch cubes to the bean soup at the start of the cooking process and added 12 ounces of 3/4-inch cubes just a few minutes from serving the soup. The small amount of turkey ham added early provided the ham flavoring and the small cube size mixed right in with the beans and took on the flavoring of the beans so there was no problem with the taste.
