I found this recipe someplace online over a year ago and tweaked it to taste. VERY EASY, very juicy and goes great with green beans and applesauce.
I "eye-ball" measure when I cook this sort of thing, so the measurements given for the marinade ingredients should be to your taste (but DON'T use less Hoison than listed- this is the main taste of the dish!)
This has become the recipe everyone who comes over for dinner wants me to make....and it is SO EASY!
(BTW-you can find Hoison sauce in the asian area of your grocery store-it will be by the soy sauce, teriyaki and other asian sauces and seasonings)Submitted by KELLYCHICAGO
You can use this sauce in spicy tuna rolls, or on a volcano or lava roll. The Sriracha hot sauce is the secret ingredient (the one with the rooster on the bottle!). You can be authentic and use "real" Japanese Mayonnaise (Kewpie), but good old Hellman's works fine too.Submitted by JO_JO_BA
My FAVORITE. I love sushi but all Japanese restaurants in my area charge outrageous prices, so I learned to make my own in a fun, easy way that only costs about $3.00 a roll (even when buying pre-cooked ingredients.) This recipe makes about 6 big pieces, which always fill me up. If you need more of a meal, try adding a teriyaki chicken appetizer.Submitted by BRENBURY
The left over taco meat from dinner the other night inspired this quiche/souffle. It is cheesy, fluffy, meaty and tasty all in one.
This is my favorite salad dressing, good with lettuce, baby greens, or any combination of cooled steamed vegetables and beans. If you've wanted to incorporate flaxseed in your diet, this is an easy and tasty way! Naturally contains omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B-12, C, and riboflavin. Makes 1 cup.
