My mother made this recipe for us all my life. It is difficult to guess amounts when you are used to just pouring things in my sight, so you may have to play around with the ingredients on this one or write me. You can also add green bellpepper to it, but my hubby is not fond of them, so I don't normally. I like it with about one medium pepper in it though. I'll try to put a photo in soon. I am making this tonight.

Step aside, Manwich! You've got nothing on these babies! *I typically use brown sugar instead of regular sugar, and I buy as lean of beef as I can find. My fiance won't eat anyone else's Sloppy Joes after he tried these! Also, these are really large servings, you could easily cut this in half for a smaller portion with fewer calories...

I love this recipe for meatloaf. It gives just the right amount of flavor without too much fat. It's a simple recipe not requiring a lot of extra ingredients. Goes great with my Southern Style Green Beans and Potatoes.
