I increased the sugar and added Cinnamon. Subbed the milk for almond milk, and flax instead of xanthan gum. Next time I'll use butter or shortening, but I didn't have it this time. These are good with honey or jam or put berries and whipped cream over them. If you make them less sweet (cut sugar by half), they're good as a biscuit dipped in soups or stews.
