This is a soup that I grew up with. This Mennonite Soup recipe has my own twist to it. It doesn't usually have the garlic, sweet potato, milk or Miracle Whip in it. I used an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie recipe that I grew up with and gave it a healthy twist. It could be healthier if you used all unsweetened ingredients, use agave nectar instead of sugar, whole wheat flour in place of the white flour and 4 eggs whites in place of the 2 eggs.
