Big Portions, Small Calories
(Recipe Collection)

39 Recipes Created by MICKIE_E

In the past year, I've lost almost 50lbs by watching my calorie/fat intake. I prefer to eat several mini-meals rather than three large meals. I try to keep the serving of any mini-meal I make under 200 calories; that being said, I love HUGE portions, so that's what I'm trying to include here.

100 Calorie Cinnamon Pancakes!

Cookbook creator says: Not the hugest portion size ever, but pretty filling. To keep myself from eating too much at once, I halved the recipe and only made one pancake at a time (1/4 C of the batter). I ate each with a cup of FF yogurt and fresh fruit.Submitted by AMROZ123

Grilled Vegetables with Pineapple

Cookbook creator says: I would use a little less olive oil and maybe sub in a little veg or chicken broth instead (I also use broth instead of oil to brown onions, garlic, etc.!). Also, I would add very little salt because even a small dash leads to high sodium, which = water retention!Submitted by HONEYLEA
