My mother-in-law gave my husband this recipe to make me for me our first Valentine's Day together. We still make it pretty frequently. It's so simple and even my two preschoolers like it. I've increased the amount of carrots because otherwise my kids eat all the carrots. I usually serve it with some instant rice and a salad. This is traditionally a very fatty food that is extremely popular at Mormon funerals. My husband had been asking for the recipe for the longest time and when I finally found it I was astonished at how bad for you it really was.
