I remember watching the Frug make these on TV about 20 years ago and I have long since lost his exact recipe. This is my version of it and they are YUM-OH! The recipe makes 6-8 servings or more depending on how hungry you are. I haven't made it in forever, but I believe you will get at least 12 - 16 wrapped lamb packages out the recipe

This is a delicious Morrocan dish, which can be served with cous cous or rice. If you use lamb shoulder, the meat may need extra time in the oven to be tender. Leg meat tends to take a little less time. The cooking times below reflect the use of leg meat.

A traditional Moroccan tagine adapted for the slow cooker. Long ingredients list but f you are missing one or two of the ingredients the dish will turn out fine. Serve with couscous.
