I whipped this together tonight, with just what I had on hand. My family really liked it and convinced me to make it my first post! As I do with all recipes, you can use this one as a guide, and make whatever changes you think will improve it. The fat content is actually lower than calculated, as I drained the fat off the chicken and turkey.
I served this with a dollop of fat free sour cream, a T. of fat free shredded cheddar and some diced green onion (keep in mind these are not added to the calories but they add no fat!) but you can dress it any way you like. I hope you enjoy it!Submitted by PLAINANDFANCY1
Makes an interesting dessert.
These are super yummy! You can also substitute cottage cheese for the ricotta and it turns out very tasty. As a time-saver, either bake the chicken and shred the night before and refrigerate until use - or use a rotisserie chicken from the grocery deli!Submitted by BIZCABLE
I am not one who measures my ingredients a lot - I am more of the cook who chops and dumps into the pot!!!! So I apologize in advance if I am a little off with the amounts/measurements!!!
I buy a lot of my produce fresh from a local stand - so for the green beans, I buy them in the green cardboard box like container. I am guessing there is about 4 cups in there?!?!
