Here is a lovely vinaigrette that I have come across during my travels in France and perfected myself. It's definitely tangy and fresh. If you love garlic this vinaigrette is perfect. Serve it with a simple baguette and a bit of cheese, pour on your salads, or dress your meat with it.

To save on some calories, you can make this without the ground flaxseed meal and almonds to make each bar approximately 150-160 calories each. If you don't have the dried fruit and nut mixutre, you can just use any kind of dried fruit - raisins, craisins, prunes (chopped), mangoes (chopped), papaya... you get the idea

Great high protein alternative to oatmeal. Found this recipe in Martha Stewart magazine. My new favorite breakfast. Takes a while to cook, but you don't have to stand over it. I make four servings without the berries, store three and add the berries to one to eat. Reheat in microwave. You can add more of milk, sugar, cinnamon or blueberries when you serve it -- but remember, that adds more calories and you don't really need it.
