Kim's lowfat jalapeno poppers
Very Good 4.3/5

A tasty variation on the traditional popper. My hubby likes these for superbowl sunday. You can also vary the recipe by adding 2 -4 T fat free sharp cheddar shreds to the cream cheese mixture. Also you can use panko crumbs for a crispier coating. Make these at least once before serving to company, as it takes a knack to get them to come out nice looking.

Cocoa Crusted Pork Tenderloin
Very Good 4.0/5

This dish inspired by Costa Rican spices seems exotic, but it uses spices and ingredients you already have around the house: coffee, cocoa and cinnamon. You'll wonder why you've been relegating these flavorings to dessert!

Slow Cooker Pork with Greens and Beans

My kids never complain about eating both beans and greens in one meal when they're served alongside rich, slow-cooked pork.

I got this recipe from my sister, and it is wonderful. It can be made the traditional way, but it also works well in a bread machine. It makes one standard size (roughly 8"X4" or slightly larger) loaf.

If you don't have vital wheat gluten, substitute more flour. The texture will not be quite as good, but it will work and tastes fine.

My husband is salt sensitive, so I do not add salt. The original recipe called for 2 heaping teaspoons salt, which I think is excessive anyway, but add some if you like.

I use bulk yeast. If you use the packets, two of them equal about 4.5 teaspoons yeast.

Most of the prep time is the rise time. You need to be around to check on it, but you can do other things.

Saw a similar recipe on the internet and made a healthier version, with a good amount of fiber and a little less sweet than the original.

Grandma a similiar bread when she made all of her other bread. It was delicious hot of the oven with butter and honey on it. I have made it my own recipe by changing some of the ingredients to healthier ingredents. She used half white and half wheat flour. Mine is 100% Wheat and I prefer to grind my own wheat flour but you can just use whole wheat flour.
