This recipe is from Disney's "The Princess and the Frog Tiana's Cookbook Recipes for Kids"

These Beignets are deep fried and I calculated two tablespoons of canola oil absorbed per Beignets and that amount was used to calculate the nutritional information..

If someone knows an accurate formula to calculate oil absorption in fried food please let me know.

6 Points. We gave our creole extra sizzle by using hot, smoked Spanish paprika. If you can't find it, use ground, smoked chili powder instead.
