I always make this soup when I start a diet. I believe it is an old Weight Watchers recipe. It is quick to make and very filling. I always make a double batch. I like to keep it on hand for snacks and for those times when I need to feel extra full.

My take on Colorado Green Chili (no tomatillos here!), replacing the pork with turkey, and using it as a filling for corn tacos. Control the heat by choosing which chiles you use. I use hot Haas chiles from New Mexico.
