You might want to be careful with the spices, because this can get hot if not careful. Slow cooking seems to do this, but it's a very yummy soup. Great with rolls and butter on a cold day.

This is delicious! I found it in a WeightWatchers Winner's Circle Recipe book. The original recipe called for 1/2 cup rice but I like to use 1 cup to make it thicker. Perfect on a cold or rainy night! Quick and Easy! VERY filling.
