A filling breakfast or post-workout recovery drink, this protein-packed smoothie tastes just like strawberry cheesecake! You can also substitute any other fruit for the strawberries, or add half the strawberries and half a different kind of fruit. (We love the classic strawberry banana combo!)

I modified this recipe to include antioxident rich cranberries and reduced calories and fat by using unsweetened applesauce instead of the vegetable oil originally printed in the recipe. These are sweet and tasty and reminiscent of the flavors of fall.

This is the best cornbread recipe I have ever found. It is adapted adapted from The Voluptuous Vegan by Myra Kornfeld. I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone interested in vegetarian or vegan cooking. For those of you on Weight Watchers, one large piece is 4 points. Worth it! Consider making this with the 1-point "Vegetarian 'Beef and Bean' Chili" for fantastic meal.
