This is a tweaked recipe shared by a Spark friend. It is also my first Spark Recipe, so go easy on me. The nutritional info doesn't match exactly to what I have, but it's pretty close. These muffins are fantastic and I recommend you have plans to freeze or share them so you don't eat them all. Don't be afraid of the whole wheat flour. Due to the bananas these come out moist and delicious, not dry and compact.

This recipe makes about 24 mini muffins or 12 large ones. (It usually seems to make a little more, maybe 28 small ones or 13 large, etc.)

adapted from a recipe my sister has in a cookbook called Cooky Primer. I just absolutely LOVE these cookies and wanted to see how they'd do lightened up. They turned out great! Use your favorite frosting with maple in it to top them. I used the spiff y whip stuff again, and it's light. You could do a drizzled frosting and not add too many calories. I didn't add the frosting here so you could figure your own.

I found this recipe was in a fitness magazine. It states you can't taste the beets, but I could detect a faint taste of them. They are supposed to enhance the taste of the chocolate. They have a different texture than typical brownies - sort of spongey, souffle like.

High Protein and Low Fat/ Low Sugar/ Low Carb!! Many natural and good for your body ingredients. Using a food processor allows textures to be blended to perfection.
This cookie contains a combination of protein and complex carbs so that it serves as an energy booster, satisfies sweet tooth and leaves you satisfied appetite wise which can last throughout the day!
No oils or fats added although one could substitute coconut oil (wonderful health benefits, non-absorbed by body) for yogurt. Found in regular supermarkets with other oils in baking section. However, it is a solid so it is in a jar or plastic container.
Carbmaster yogurt is low carb low sugar yogurt purchased from Kroger.
Soy flour is available in baking section of supermarkets. Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate Bar can actually be found in several places including Rite Aid and other drug stores in candy row. There are other brands also, This happens to be a great one with only 5 grams of carbs in 4 squares! Protein Isolate powder is available from any health food store and also Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Target carry in sections near vitamins. Isolate is more finely ground than regular protein powder, making it an excellent substitute for white flour.
