This started as a way to use up stale bread and bread loaf ends. But it's really good! Substitute 6 sliced bread end pieces if you like. The calories go down (but the carbs may go up).

a very strawberry smoothie with a hint of banana. I divided it in two tall glasses; it could be 4 - 8 oz servings. Very refreshing.

I tried to make multigrain, high protein waffle batter but the waffle iron didn't cooperate, so I made pancakes instead. 4 pancakes per serving; about 4 pancakes per 1/2 cup batter. I tried using vegetable spray, but they stuck so I switched to very light margarine on the pan. If they work in your waffle iron, let me know!
