My diet works to the extent I cook my own food... locally if possible. My family cooks Lebanese so recipes in this book will be traditional or not, but using ingredients from a lebanese pantry. Let's see how we can fit ba aklava on this diet (Ha).

Cookbook creator says: This recipe looks good and as a mediterranean cook I have wheat germ on hand. Will have to go to the coop to get flax seed meal, but it sounds like an ingrediant I could use in breads too.

Yes it's decadent to even contemplate a nice plate full of Spanokopita and it's even better to add some greek yogurt. This low fat version tastes better than the buttery drippy version and is better for you.
