Splenda Brown Sugar Blend may be omitted. I use at least one MacIntosh for added moisture. May be cooked in microwave set on high or oven at 350 degrees F until rhubarb is tender. No time given. I suggest 45-60 mins in oven. I have not used the microwave. As a kid, I was always fascinated with the carrots made out of frosting that adorned the top of carrot cake.
