Makes a lot. I perfected this recipe over the last year or so. Prep in the morning, drop in crockpot. set to low and cook till you get home. make some rice and dinner is ready.

Cookbook creator says: cooked as is. fairly good flavor but needs something. had to add more salt to my bowl, so don't know how much overall. Added can of peas; ok. Next time add Black beans. may have too much marjoram or thyme.
