Being diabetic I had to find a way to lower the Gycemic index of oatmeal. The addition of oat bran and ground flax seed accomplishes this. The flax seed also adds a nutty taste to the oatmeal and adds omega 3 fatty acids.This oatmeal is great for you!Submitted by HICAT2
Cookbook creator says: I would try this with Flax Meal instead of seeds and throw in some fresh cut Wheat Grass. I grow it for the cats but it's great in smoothies! I love Spinach in smoothies.Submitted by DEABURKE
