Sautee' chicken in sesame oil, soy sauce and seeds.

When chicken is almost fully cooked, add veggies and sautee' just until almost done. (Best when veggies are sort of "al dente")

salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Can be thickened with corn starch, which adds a minimal amount of calories.

These are certainly not low-cal, nor low fat. But they have lots of good fats and are very filling. I like to cut a bar in half, and eat one half before working out, and the other half after. Yay. Beans again... well, sometimes I think that but not often. I mean, I really love beans and am absolutely fine with eating them often. It's just that I typically don't get excited about a new flavor or experiment when cooking black beans. I usually am satisfied and pleased with my traditional method. But, I recently found a recipe online and thought, hmmm, I can make that work and got excited once again about the fabulous black bean!

The original recipe I found for this came from a "Casablanca Cookbook." It called for apricots, all kinds of spices, and a few hard to get ingredients. I improvised with what I had and have made it since the same way. It's very versatile but tastes great each time.

My neice uses coconut flour so I decided to try the pancakes. They are really good. Gluten free, soy free, low fat and carb, and sugar free. You can combine coconut flour with regular flours as well. Makes 16-3" pancakes/4 per serving.
