These freeze great! Make a big batch and freeze. Pop one in the toaster oven or microwave to thaw.

These dense, moist cookies are great to grab on your way out the door in the morning. They're like oatmeal with all the fixings but without the mess! They're free of flour, eggs, and corn syrup, and they don't contain much fat or sugar. They're not sweet like a typical cookie, but they certainly are convenient!

I have tweaked this recipe to maximize nutrition. These are high in fiber, protein and vitamins. They contain whole wheat oats, flour and flax seed. They are egg free. They are low in sugar. Be careful, though, the calories can add up!

Cookbook creator says: Another "breakfast cookie" I am going to tweak for a bit more nutrition. This one is not only going out to the kids, but to hubby to take on his hunting trip. I may make 1/2 batch w/cranberries and a 1/2 batch with raisins, dates or figs.
