I found this recipe in a 'zine and I have been making it for years. They receives rave reviews every time I make them and they are a staple in our household. I am not a vegan but I love that the only fat in these is from peanut butter.

I altered my favorite chocolate muffins to be practically fat free and low calorie. Moist and chocolatey! Only 109 cals and 2.5 g of fat for a large muffin, or per slice (12 a loaf)

The original recipe says that this makes 12 servings but just a handful (about half of a serving) makes a great snack at just over 150 calories. Careful - they're addictive.
