This smoothie is loaded with antioxidants!
You've barbecued ribs and you've barbecued chicken, but have you tried salmon? Dill and lemon make this light fish dinner shine.
This was adapted from a recipe I got out of the Oct. 2008 issue of Family Circle Magazine. I switched the veg. oil with olive oil and used Morton lite salt instead of reg. salt to lower the sodium. I also figured it into 6 servings instead of 4.Submitted by CAROLJTD40
This recipe originated from my sister who got it from her mother-in-law and has been perfected over the course of 40 years. The only adjustment that I have made is the use of melting chocolates because they are easy to use and more predictable (She uses chocolate chips and parafin)
Use only Jif peanut butter and stick margarine (butter will not work in this recipe) and be sure to melt the margarine for perfect buckeyes every time.
This recipe may be reduce in size. I use a professional 6 qt. KitchenAid mixerSubmitted by 4AMAZINGME
This recipe is for 3 loaves of bread, 2 for the week and one to freeze. It is meant to be made with a stand mixer, but you don't need one. This has more good fat and fiber than most recipes.
This recipe is best for sandwiches, toast, french toast, dinner rolls, and sub rolls (adjust sizes).
This bread is dense, filling and good for you! You can add some wheat gluten to make it rise a little more and make it a little less dense.Submitted by WOMAN15R
An Italian favorite gets a below the border twist. Chef Meg made just a few tweaks before giving this one her seal of approval! She adds the spices early in cooking to help boost flavor and added a full pound of turkey for a more filling meal. Submitted by CHEF_MEG
This tortilla soup tastes better than anything you can get at a restaurant. And it's healthy too! Don't let the long list of ingredients fool you. All you do is dump everything into the slow cooker and walk away. Submitted by DIXIED88
My favorite dish at a local Mexican restaurant is their Chicken Enchiladas with Creamy Green Chile Sauce. I had to try and find a way to lower the fat and sodium so I could enjoy these without the guilt! I tweaked that recipe a bit to lower the sodium and fat, and came up with a winner! My husband and teen daughter gobble these up!Submitted by BETHPROVERBS31
