This marinated flat iron steak recipe is soooo yummy. As tender as a filet, but without the price tag.

(Note that the calorie count is somewhat inflated, since most of the marinade gets thrown away, rather than consumed.)

This version uses whole wheat spaghetti (I did not have Soba noodles on hand) These are good sized portions using 2oz of dry pasta (about 1 cup cooked) per serving with a lot of vegies as well!

Modified slightly from a recipe found on, this is a asian dish similar to what you get in Japanese or Korean restaurants. I know it's kind of high in sodium from the soy sauce, but it's not something you eat every day, just for special occasions. Enjoy!

If you have ever been to the Chicago area and had an Italian Roast beef sandwich you know you just can't get something like that in most areas! This recipe comes the closest I've found to that taste. Only real difference is the shredded roast beef instead of shaved.

This was a kitchen oops that turned out okay. I got the bright idea to make asian style cabbage rolls (think eggrolls in cabbage leaves instead of the wonderful crispy wantons) and then I discovered there must be a gift to wrapping food in a leaf and God did not bestow that gift upon me. LOL
