A recipe from http://www.grouprecipes.com/5941/grandmas-german-cheesecake.html# (I have completely copied the ingredients, except for the added fruit on top). Very similar to the one my mother-in-law makes, but even lighter. Compared to North American cheesecake, this one has a lighter taste and much, much less fat and calories! Sprinkle with seasonal fruit. Submitted by NIKKA09 Carbs: 36g | Fat: 6.6g | Fiber: 1.3g | Protein: 5.3g | Calories: 222.2

This Cake was made without any butter. I used none fat sour cream as a substitute. The plums can be replaced with any of your favorite fruits such as peaches, apples, cherries and prunes. Try this with a spoon full of none dairy whipping cream and you will be in heaven. Submitted by MMYRD2000 Carbs: 23.4g | Fat: 0.4g | Fiber: 1.5g | Protein: 6.1g | Calories: 120

My mother was born and raised in Bavaria. Our family loved red cabbage. She is gone now, but I've adapted her recipe with just the right ratio of ingredients to make it just like hers! The key is using red wine vinegar. This freezes very well, too, but there aren't leftovers when I make it for family get togethers.
