Cookbook creator says: Used extra virgin olive oil.Added the onion, celery, and garlic to the meat when it was being browned.Used minced garlic 1 tsp. I simmered the meat mixture in the water mixture for approximately 30min. Added 4 carrots, 3 potatoes, 1 c. of frozen peas and cooked an additional 30-40 minutes.
