Cookbook creator says: I roughly chopped everything and tossed all ingredients (except milk) into my crock pot for 4 hours on high. Then when all was soft, blend with milk and serve. I used pumpkin pie spice because I ran out of nutmeg.

Cookbook creator says: Make several ahead of time and freeze in loaf pan. Put whole pan in crock pot with some water and cook 6-8 hrs on low. Also good made into meatballs.
