Cookbook creator says: This recipe calls for a fair amount of artificial sweetener. I have to nix it. Rhuhbarb is very tart, so it needs to be sweetened with something. . .I'll have to try using a super sweet fruit, like mango and strawberries, something also that will stand up the the heat. Can't wait to try it!

Cookbook creator says: Gotta make my own dulce-de leche homemade pudding for this recipe. Nix the artificial sweetners! ! Try "Bryanna Vegan Dulce-de leche" pudding (scroll down for the recipe) in place of the packaged pudding mix OR the uncut dulce de leche (recipe in cookbook) in place of the pudding.
