Cookbook creator says: I used rinsed canned carrots a whole cup which gave extra nutrition, i just mashed them up and mixed into beef well I substituted onions for green bell pepper. was yummy. next time saute them with the garlic so less crunchy and eat with a large salad because the servings are a bit small.
