The marinade in this recipe can be easily altered to suit your taste. Try adding a clove or two of minced garlic and a sprinkle of fresh rosemary to finish. It pairs nicely with roasted potatoes, a green side salad and fresh fruit.Submitted by FRNKGRIFFIN
Low carb and very yummy! I threw this together with ingredients I had on hand and it turned out delicious! My husband and daughter could not get enough of it! I love crockpot recipes, especially in winter. You can use low fat/reduced sodium cream of chicken soup if you want to reduce fat and sodium more and serve this over rice or wide egg noodles if you aren't watching carbs. 1 breakfast cup is 1 serving by calorie count, so have 2 or 3! Still low calorie breakfast.
This dish is easy to prepare - mix all ingredients (and salt and/or pepper to taste) and marinate with chicken for 10 minutes up to 24 hours before (refrigerate if marinating more than 20 minutes). For Honey, note that 1 tbsp = 3 tsp (i.e. 2/3 tbsp = 2 tsp). Feel free to substitute seasonings to taste.
Recommend preparing this for a family or, for multiple meals to be used in salads, with pasta, veggies and more.Submitted by ZANNERQ
I love this recipe, I made this up to flavor up some chicken and eat it al the time since I have been dieting. It is so good! I hope you all think so too! I like this the best with the chicken cooked on the grill but you can do whatever method you like to cook the chicken.Submitted by SNAVELA1
