Bread stuffed with a warm chocolatey/cheesy filling. Adapted from Hungry Girl 1-2-3 Recipe Book. The only change I made was swapping out a little cream cheese in place of some of the ricotta.

couple of changes made to original recipe due to what i had in my pantry.

serving size can vary depending on how big slices are. i used a square pan and cut into 4 large pieces.

A yummy comfort food that won't break the calorie bank. Would be good with a salad or just have two servings! I found this recipe on the Hungry Girl site, but modified it a little.

This is definitely a BUDGET FRIENDLY recipe. It feeds 4 people for about $2 per diner! Not bad eh?

I like to only eat meat a couple of days per week. I had already planned on two meals with meat as the centerpiece, but also really wanted to make a nice, warm, comforting casserole for dinner!

This recipe uses Texturized Vegetable Protein, which you can find in bulk at any health food store and even Hannaford's! I use it instead of pre-fab meatless grounds because it's MUCH cheaper and has waaaaay less sodium.

Wonton wrappers are, without a doubt, unsung heroes of the guilt-free kitchen. You can do SO much with these little blank slates, and they're easier to work with than you might think.

These are slightly higher calorie wise as I made them with light cream cheese instead of fat free.

This is a spicy little meal that is so easy to make and tastes so good!! I don't know how I did it, but with my ingredients, I slimmed off 100 calories from the hungry girl recipe. I think the key is to find a low calorie chicken sausage. I used Trader Joe's at 100 calories a link!

From the Hungry Girl 200 under 200 cookbook
There are some slight tweaks- I don't add the Splenda (1 packet if you want to) or salt (dash) and I use vanilla almond milk instead of light vanilla soy as recommended in the original recipe- but that's a personal product preference. Also, I don't get 5 pancakes, I make 4- but that's just because of the size I make.
