The sweetness of the maple flavored syrup compliments the slight bitterness of the rutabaga. Easy to prepare, and great with just about any meal as a side dish.

Applies to vegetarian, gluten free, low cal, low carb, low fat, sugar free diets.

This is good served with broiled/grilled pork chops or chicken breast and cranberry orange relish or applesauce.

Cookbook creator says: soooooooo good! mmmmmmmmmmmmm! I have learned to mix the other stuff in the pot that I cooked the meat in and then just spread it over the lettuce. It seems to go further that way, which means I can eat more for fewer Calories, which is good, because you just can't get enough of this stuff! :)
