This is the closest I have come to actual PIZZA pizza. The caulifower crust is awesome, but not as pick-up-able. The meat crust is kinda like a thin meatloaf with topping...not that there's anything wrong with that. But this...THIS is really like real pizza...but one gives you 4 slices, anyway you want it, and right around 500 calories, depending on what you add for toppings. If you use the low carb pita and not so many veggies, it stays pretty low carb too. Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 27.6g | Fat: 26.7g | Fiber: 11.7g | Protein: 46.5g | Calories: 530.3

My hubby can't have regular tartar sauce because of the added sugar/high fructose corn syrup so I make it at home. Super easy, I would never buy it in a jar again. Can be made way lower calorie with light mayo. Mt Olive NSA products can be found at Kroger and Safeway. I actually use French's Horseradish Mustard, but Annie's would work too. I got this idea from twice baked potatoes. You can cut the calories more than this if you use fat free or low fat dairy products. So good I could eat it every day. Great way to cut the potatoes out of a meal if you need to... Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 7.9g | Fat: 11.5g | Fiber: 4.9g | Protein: 8.4g | Calories: 160.9

Cookbook creator says: This is so dang good, we have it every couple weeks. I use Sugar Twin, and I use a different kind of salsa every time. Cookbook creator says: This is awesome! I also have a diabetic husband, so I have no sugar even in my house. I used 1/4 cup EACH of brown and white diabetisweet, 2% Calorie Countdown milk from Hood [lower carbs, reduced milk sugars, I get it at WM] & just a sprinkle of cayenne [I know, I'm weird]. Definitely a keeper! Submitted by ~PENNY~ Carbs: 16.8g | Fat: 2.4g | Fiber: 2.3g | Protein: 7.4g | Calories: 115

I make this in a huge 15x10 glass pan, so I have leftovers for lunches, etc. You can cut the amount of everything in half for a smaller size pan. I also use Dreamfield's because of the increased fiber and lower glycemic effect, as my DH is diabetic. Different pasta will have a different count. I sometimes use different cheeses to mix it up a little...use half pepper jack in place of the mozzarella cheese makes it a spicier dish. I'm not big on breakfast foods, so lots of times I will mix up this or my twice baked Cauliflower recipe and have individual servings ready to go in the fridge. One minute in the micro and you have a hot yummy anytime. Makes a great side dish too. You can use other veggies, of course...these are my favs. Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 8g | Fat: 9.9g | Fiber: 4.6g | Protein: 10.5g | Calories: 154.4

Great for colds. I use the crockpot. I use all pre-prepared, because this is made when I am sick and feeling lousy. Pre-shredded potatoes, not patties or tots, prechopped onions and corn from the frozen section, canned milk and broth. Ground pepper. Clears your sinuses and warms your belly. Cookbook creator says: This is not my recipe, but it is a super easy basic poaching recipe & almost any combo of fish, liquid & seasonings would work. If you use fresh herbs, you should use step one of the recipe...otherwise, just add liquid, herbs & bring to simmer, then add fish. It really is super fast & flavorful. I love corn chowder, but my husband can't eat all the potatoes, flour, etc. So after reading over all the other recipes, I wondered if this might work. I tried it, subbing the cauliflower instead of the potatoes and using some of it as part of the base. It tuned out a teeny bit thinner than "real"...but it is really flavorful and yummy. Cookbook creator says: This is awesome, quick and easy. I actually used a whole egg [I ran out of egg beaters] and Diabetisweet instead of Splenda [it's what I have in the house] but it was really good. FF evaporated milk...who knew? Cookbook creator says: Like I have said before, my family likes it hot. You can adjust this so many ways...turkey instead of burger, lowfat links instead of full fat...obviously you can lower the fuego by a lot. LOL Have fun! I did this version my 6 qt crockpot, mostly just to let it cook all day. My family likes stuff hot, like SUPER hot, so I use a beef sausage with jalapenos in it, and I sub one can of diced tomatoes for two smaller cans of rotel tomatoes with green chiles in it. Made as listed, this will not be as hot...I don't think. LOL Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 43.7g | Fat: 13.2g | Fiber: 7.8g | Protein: 12.8g | Calories: 297.8

This is based on lots of recipes, but I could find nothing that fit what I wanted and what I had. Sort of a chili/stew/thick soup. Over noodles, rice or in a bowl. Garnish with FF sour cream, cheese or salsa. Nice for cold day. Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 24.5g | Fat: 2.1g | Fiber: 6g | Protein: 32g | Calories: 234.9

I use this in place of piling a ton of sour cream and butter on my baked potato. It's not perfect, but way better than what I used to use. I am sure there are tweaks that can be done to make it more calorie friendly, but this is where I started. Pretty darn good. This is made with Brown Sugar Spenda Blend, because my DH is diabetic. If you choose to make it with plain brown sugar, just adjust the amount up to taste [brown sugar Splenda is way sweeter than regular], probably about 4 packed tsp, which only adds about 10 calories per serving. And I used red and yellow peppers, only because we don't like green here. So, again, you pick. Submitted by CYNDIDAVISUSA Carbs: 39.6g | Fat: 2.1g | Fiber: 3.6g | Protein: 23g | Calories: 274

Good crockpot meal for a cold day. Use whatever color bell peppers you like, I use yellow and orange. Ground beef is fine, but will add calories. Turkey cutlets can be subbed for the steak to reduce calories and fat. I use two kinds of meat to add flavor and texture.
