To use in place of canned cream soups in casseroles or as a base for
your own soups. It is much lower in fat and salt than the canned versions. The trick is to have it made up ready to use.
*Note* For my bouillon cubes, 1/2 cube = 1 tsp. bouillon granules. 12 tsp. =1/4 cup

This is a fantastic way to sneak veggies into your kids. I HATE cauliflower and cabbage and I love this soup. Very little prep time, 4 ingredients, and <1 gm of fat.

Hearty winter soup, easy to make and perfect for a lazy day. Accompany with crusty bread for a full meal, or use smaller portions for lunch or appetiser.

This recipe makes heaps of serves, but can easily be divided by 2 or 3 for a smaller group. Keeps for several days with an even better flavour on the 2nd day.

This is a very nutritious modified classic gumbo that omits the usual carbs from roux and fats from bacon. It has no seafood and keeps or freezes well. High in vitamins and minerals, it is complimented with cornbread.
