WLS friendly chicken cordon blue. The chicken comes out moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The cheese is hot and gooey. Serve with a side of steamed veggies and melon for a very satisfying, high protein meal.

Hearty winter soup, easy to make and perfect for a lazy day. Accompany with crusty bread for a full meal, or use smaller portions for lunch or appetiser.

This recipe makes heaps of serves, but can easily be divided by 2 or 3 for a smaller group. Keeps for several days with an even better flavour on the 2nd day.

Ferber's Authentic Chicken Vindaloo
Very Good 4.6/5
(17 ratings)

A slightly modified, but rather Authentic Indian recipe. My wife and I love Indian food, especially vindaloos. Now that we are dieting, I have scaled down our favorite "red" Vindaloo recipe. This Vindaloo has a nice combination between the tomato sauce and the mustard, with just enough heat.

If you don't see lamb leg steaks at the meat counter, ask your butcher to cut one-inch-thick steaks from the upper portion of the leg. A slice of Vidalia onion rounds out the plate and accents the lamb with its smoky sweetness. To make our Greek Lamb Pizza the next night, set aside one steak and two onion slices.

This recipe goes with Greek Lamb Pizza
