Truly comfort food! At only 154 calories per serving, 4 grams of fat and 14 and 1/2 carbs per serving, this is a very good substitute for the fast food fried chicken.

Just made this one up for dinner tonight. Turned out great and was a very large serving -- if you're not REALLY hungry I suggest making this into 4 servings. I served it with a toasted multi grain english muffin drizzled with olive oil & sprinkled with garlic powder. And unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon. YUM!

*Don't omit the butter, the original called for 1/2 cup butter with 1 pkg of italian seasoning. The 1 T gives is the hint of buttery flavor that makes this so good!

This is my favorite "go to" recipe! I got it when I was going to Weight Watchers, then I fine-tuned it to how I like it. Now it tastes just like you'd get in a restaurant! Be sure to measure the rice and chicken because it's tempting to "overdo it"!

Cookbook creator says: Good, but sauce a bit runny. Perhaps because I used lite soy sauce or maybe because I did two pans - one with legs, one thighs. Maybe if they would have been more smushed together in the pans... will try again!
