From Cooking Light Oct. 2008 p. 172--Really good. This is a superfast recipe that plays some of Jacob's and my favorite foods together into a fast, but delicious combination. Taylor liked the tortellini, but not anything else. Ashlynn choked it down and Jacob and I thought it was fantastic. Joshua even ate it.

I served this for company and it got standing ovations. I thought that it had the perfect balance of seasonings. The recipe suggests that it could replace turkey for the Holidays. I wouldn't go quite that far, but it is good.

This recipe originally calls for 1 lb. beef tenderloin tips. I used beef round. DFC says it is 300 calories (31.5 cal less)

Step aside, Manwich! You've got nothing on these babies! *I typically use brown sugar instead of regular sugar, and I buy as lean of beef as I can find. My fiance won't eat anyone else's Sloppy Joes after he tried these! Also, these are really large servings, you could easily cut this in half for a smaller portion with fewer calories...

I and my family love this recipe. I have made as is and also made in a crock pot. My mother in law used this at a big event after eating it when they were over for dinner one day. You can use chicken instead of shrimp if desired.
