My Gramma Willie taught me how to make this sauce years ago. It's the only way I make Alfredo now (though I use unsweetened soy milk instead of skim milk). Serve with grilled chicken, broccoli and pasta.

A made from scratch teriyaki sauce that is great for stir-fry, grilling, crock pot cooking and anything else you may want to use it for. Garlic and ginger powder may be substituted for fresh but fresh garlic and ginger give this sauce a better flavor. You may also want to experiment with adding pineapple or orange juice.

This is another excerpt from blog and goes really well with the Parsnip rice or over any vegetable. I reminds me of the ginger dressing I have had on salads at Japanese restaurants. Halved from the original.
