I love Gooey Butter Cake and I just had to adjust this recipe when I found it. You can substitute the SuperMoist yellow cake mix with the yellow butter cake mix but it just adds calories. By adding about half the butter and a half cup of applesauce they stay moist and gooey without losing the taste.
