Like most recipes on the site except I use Yogurt and Low-fat cottage cheese and the cornflour is essential as it keeps the pancake from falling apart, if you want to omit lay pancake on baking paper in a baking tin and bake at 180*C until brown,

I devised these to aid--ahem--regularity on the Dukan Diet, hence ingredients and measurements are based on the Dukan requirements (oat bran is 2 Tbsp, the daily dose for Cruise phase). But they would be useful for anyone who wants to prevent constipation, and they are actually quite tasty even for non-sufferers.
Recipe is based on principles of Irish Soda Bread so once liquid is added you have to work quickly.

These easy fish cakes use canned tuna as a main ingredient. I have omitted the bread crumbs and use eggs as a binding agent.
The spices are just a suggestion, put whateve spices you like in to suit your taste.
Suggestion: Mix all ingredients except the egg in at first. You can "taste test" the resulting mixture as the tuna is fully cooked.

Oat bran is a key element in the Dukan diet. It can be challenging to find ways to make this stuff palatable. This light and easy pancake is a tasty way to eat your oat bran. Delicious, actually. Makes 2 galettes. You may cut the recipe in half for a single serving.
