Cookbook creator says: Use Montreal Steak Marinade instead of salt and pepper. Sprinkle the dry marinade right out of the pouch onto each side of the chicken. It's loaded with garlic and peppercorn, a little goes a long way. When done, remove chicken and stir cooked rice into skillet to pick up garlic and brown sugar!
