I LOVE chicken & dumplings so when I found this I added my own spin to it and lowered the fat and calories. This is the best chicken and dumplings I've ever had which is amazing since I'm never satisfied with my cooking! You can have a full cup of this hearty comfort food for only 284 calories and 3.8 grams of fat! The sodium could be reduced if homemade biscuits are used instead of the canned biscuits, but if sodium isn't a problem this is a very fast and easy way to make chicken & dumplings!

I found a recipe similar in a cookbook, but I changed a few things and made it a low calorie and low fat enjoyable Thanksgiving or anytime dessert. The best part no measuring! They are all individual servings.

An alternate dessert for the holidays, rich and sweet and yummy but only slightly decadent. If you crumble cinnamon graham crackers over the top, it's almost an inverted pie:)

If you're daring, try an optional pinch of cayenne. It will give a nice warming quality to the dish, but don't add enough to give it real "heat".

This soup is a favorite in the family. Add a different green or several for a new 'kick' to the soup. Especially good with warm whole grain bread on the side.

This is originally a vegan recipe that we have altered a bit to include Quinoa, giving the pancakes a slight nutty flavor, and using real milk.
